 GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

The core facility "DIGESTIVE MODELS" is dedicated to research (fundamental and translational) as well as training  on  experimental abdominal surgery
The core facility "ORGANOIDS" develops intensive cultures of "miniguts", which recreates in vitro, but in 3 dimensions, an intestinal epithelial organ, gathering all the diversity of intestinal epithelial cells. Such in vitro models are powerful tools for research in intestine physiology and for therapeutic testing.  ​
